what others say about me
„Paweł Jasiński’s paintings are an aesthetical feast shapes in opposition to the commonly promoted to senses. The artist shows a woman of gigantic canon of female beauty. Jasiński, with his famous note of satire, makes us think about the essence of femininity and its beauty. We are struck by the vision of a woman blooming secret, inviting us to join her lonely wandering. She is a flower woman, a mother, a child-bearer, with all the experiences and prehistory behind; She is lonely like a tree, and like a tree fertile. She is in contact with a source - a very power of her inner self - nourishing and empowering generations. The choice of colours, the chiaroscuro are an invitation to a discovery of a mystery embedded in a woman. Jasiński carefully chooses his paints and creates a mood that triggers emotions. You just cannot pass those images indifferently. They make you stop and think for a moment... and this is what Jasiński is about.”
„Although we finished the same high school in Nowy Wisnicz, Poland, we had no memory of meeting. After several years, our journeys brought us to Dublin and that’s where our paths crossed. Right from the first meeting we knew that there was a connection. High school memories came back a live. There was a start of our unique friendship. Paweł belongs to a young generation of artists who is interested in many areas of art. He shows this interest through including painting, drawing, sculpture, through new media and design. His amazing pallet of colours, delicate, perfectly balanced colour full of light and warmth. Captures trapped moments of his models, nature, architecture fade into surrealistic, exaggerated also fairytale themes to allow the viewer a deeper reflective view. In his big women shapes I see an exclusion topic from society also a lack of acceptance and tolerance, which in the case of Paweł’s paintings, turns into a charming and intriguing game of seeing work and its beauty from a different perspective. Apart from his art career I see Paweł as someone with an extremely spacial level of sensitivity also huge warmth in creating relationship between people, spaces and surrounding spaces.”
„Paweł is an artist who enjoys contemplation of the creative process. Aware of his creation and at the same time curious about where it will lead him, he allows paint to dance on his canvases, flowing to the rhythm of the beautiful music usually filling his studio. Gold textures often combine between the textures of colours, complex delicate spots with an unusual feel and delicacy. Watching the collection of Krakow landscapes, I can not help get the impression that he strongly experiences the colour as moods created by the light flowing down from the blue spaces. Paweł’s Krakow nocturnes are fascinating, and in them there are wonderful flares of light against the background of deep cobalt, abstractly laid patches of colour, often dynamically as if thrown with a brush, passing into calm, slightly marked spots, up to worked out parts of details. They are extremely beautiful paintings that are penetrated by the warm spirit of a wonderful painter!
Congratulations with all my heart.”
